Becton Elite Scholars Program

The Becton Elite Scholars Program is a structured academic development program designed to help high-potential students strengthen core skills, improve performance, and prepare for more competitive academic pathways.

This is not traditional tutoring.
It is a focused, step-by-step system that combines subject mastery, structured thinking, and consistent guidance.

Who It Is For

The program is designed for students who:

  • Have clear academic potential but need structure and direction
  • Want to improve performance in English, Mathematics, and Science
  • Are preparing for more demanding academic pathways, including advanced courses and university entry
  • Benefit from a disciplined, supportive learning environment

We work best with families who value consistency, commitment, and long-term progress.

Weekly Online Sessions

Students attend small-group online sessions each week.

These sessions focus on:

  • Core subject development (Maths, English, Science)
  • Clear explanation of concepts
  • Guided practice and problem-solving
  • Building confidence through structured learning

Group sizes are kept deliberately small to ensure focus, participation, and individual attention.

Saturday Elite Labs

In addition to weekly sessions, students participate in Saturday Elite Labs (periodic in-person or hybrid sessions).

These sessions are designed to:

  • Develop deeper problem-solving skills
  • Strengthen analytical thinking
  • Expose students to more challenging work
  • Build academic confidence in a focused setting

The Elite Labs provide a more intensive environment where students can extend beyond routine schoolwork.

SAT / AP Preparation

For students approaching key academic milestones, the program includes structured preparation for:

  • SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test)
  • Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams

This includes:

  • Familiarity with exam formats
  • Practice under timed conditions
  • Development of strategies for accuracy and consistency

The focus is on building the skills and habits that support stronger performance over time.

Parent Progress Reports

We believe parents should have clear visibility of their child’s progress.

Families receive:

  • Regular progress updates
  • Clear identification of strengths and focus areas
  • Guidance on how to support learning at home
  • Student progress summaries, project feedback, and skills-development reports.

Where appropriate, we also offer brief review conversations to discuss progress and next steps.

Application-Based Admission

The Becton Elite Scholars Program operates on a selective, application-based model.

This allows us to:

  • Maintain small, focused groups
  • Ensure students are appropriately placed
  • Provide a consistent and high-quality learning environment

Admission is based on:

  • Current academic level
  • Student readiness
  • Alignment with program expectations
